Luino•2023-2024
Design and creation of an urban art project promoted by Luino Town Council and the Lotta Contro l’Emarginazione Cooperative. The main design challenge was the size of the area (approximately 250 square metres) combined with its irregular shape. These characteristics were the starting point for the project: the initial draft was developed during a two-day workshop led by myself and staff from the cooperative.
I then took charge of defining the design and painting the artwork in place.
More specifically, the chosen colour palette includes 12 saturated colours, while the shapes are designed to follow the morphology of the space and create new ones, defining several distinct areas. Once the work was complete, the area was also furnished with benches.
